DOC LA: Storytella 2018

We are honored to be part of this year’s DOC LA film festival as part of their small selection of narrative films (non-competition). We will be opening for award-winning feature documentary “Children of the Snow Land.”

This festival holds a special, deeper meaning for us since the festival was founded by the Parajanov-Vartanov Institute - an organization that champions the legacy of Parajanov & Vartanov who overcame persecution and won the admiration of cinema's greatest artists.

Their work as a director and a cinematographer, respectively, has been voted among the most important films and documentaries of all time by BFI, and screened at preeminent festivals. The institute's founder is their disciple, UCLA alum and DOC LA programer Martiros Vartanov.

Last year, films featuring Marion Cotillard, Alfred Molina, Virginie Ledoyen, Christian Bale were part of the lineup. This year, a film featuring Susan Sarandon will be the centerpiece.

Price: $10
